Grant Thornton launches change management app

Top 10 Firm Grant Thornton released its empower.x application, which guides entities through organizational changes.
The new application will be used by GT professionals, leveraging data to provide a range of capacities related to internal organizational matters for their clients:
- Collect and store information on a client’s impacted stakeholder groups;
- Regularly measure client readiness to adopt and sustain organizational change;
- Identify and monitor how specific organizational changes will impact a client’s stakeholder groups;
- Create, manage and execute communications plans for clients, including calendars, workflows and review procedures;
- Monitor how engaged and effective a client’s change agents are in driving transformation activities; and,
- Create and manage training plans, develop educational materials and execute programs while tracking stakeholder progress.
“Change at an enterprise level can be hard, slow and unpredictable,” said Jennifer Morelli, a principal in the business change enablement practice at Grant Thornton, in a statement. “This makes empower.x an ideal application to streamline the change process. When combined with Grant Thornton’s change management experience, the application helps clients achieve a goal that is simple to define, but confoundingly elusive in practice: effectively manage change.”
Grant Thornton developed empower.x using its alyx system, which pairs subject-matter specialists, such as CPAs and certified fraud examiners, with technologists in areas including intelligent automation, data extraction, data cleansing, analytics and blockchain.
