BlackLine expands Microsoft collaboration
Finance and accounting close solution provider BlackLine Inc. is expanding its collaboration with Microsoft by joining the software giant’s Business Application ISV Connect Program and creating a joint selling arrangement.
Joining Microsoft’s independent software vendor program will help BlackLine create and market products to users of Microsoft’s Dynamics 365.
“Microsoft welcomes BlackLine into the Microsoft Business Applications ecosystem and will offer its platform for finance controls and automation to Microsoft Dynamics 365 customers and partners,” said Toby Bowers, general manager for business applications at Microsoft, in a statement. “With this Microsoft Dynamics 365 integration, BlackLine offers a unique, innovative solution to organizations around the world that focuses on finance and accounting.”
“Through our collaboration with Microsoft, we seek to help finance and accounting teams at midsized companies, as well as large organizations, gain control over their financial close, intercompany accounting, accounts receivable and other key processes for the office of the controller,” said Mel Zeledon, senior vice president of channels and alliances at BlackLine, in a statement. “Together we’re providing an end-to-end solution, delivering greater customer value through enhanced connectivity and integration.”
Currently, BlackLine has a connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP, and it expects to add one for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in 2022.
